Functional Genotypes

OREGIN provides molecular resources to link genetic variation directly to agricultural traits. The genotype data for the OREGIN population can be integrated with the OREGIN trait data to enable powerful analysis of trait-marker associations.

Diversity Fixed Foundation Sets (DFFS)

A panel of over 500 genetically diverse Brassica napus accessions, including the expanded ASSYST panel, is maintained to underpin associative transcriptomics.

  • Public Lines: 169 lines are currently publicly available.
  • Morphotypes: Includes winter, spring, and fodder types for representing wide genetic diversity.
  • Distribution: Seed stocks are maintained and distributed via the University of Warwick Gene Bank.
